@phase I completely agree. I started working on the tempest last november after Dorian.. finally bought the domain in June. some of the embedding is giving me fits lol, and i hate the new block editor (mainly because I dont understand it) so, theres that. but this is a labor of love.
@phase coming from you my friend, thats a hell of a compliment. thank you
@GlytchMeister its a work in progress, mainly the embedding that I've been fighting with, but its getting there
Good fuckin idea.
I think we kinda need this sort of thing for a lot of problems people face, because not everyone is good at research or critical thinking.
Sucks, but maybe we need to reevaluate how we present info to the masses.
Oh, hey, it’s science Communication! That’s it! We need better SciComm.
Andithink this is a very good idea in that vein.
@GlytchMeister thank you
@phase thanks. still a work in progress.
@GlytchMeister yep
@Beanc thank you
Ladies and Gentlemen,

Remote learning/working is first dependent upon availability for both. I've outlined in previous posts info remote learning for kids. However, first and foremost, if a parent/parents can not stay home and/or the kids are not old enough to stay home alone, remote learning is null and void. please see the 2 graphics I'm posting then read the article.

Take away: only 34 % occupations can remote work same % kids are old enough to stay home
Great op-ed from The Atlantic on remote learning..

Good morning #COSO
I have a little time before work so I'm gonna post a few things in a thread. 4 very fascinating and eye opening articles about USPS.
I encourage all to take a gander... First one is from March of 2015

The article has good advice for all of us, including folks who are not parents--we need to stay connected somehow:
"Dr. Schoppe-Sullivan suggests parents talk with their children, help them connect with friends and focus on what's truly important, even if that means, temporarily, easing up on things like healthy eating habits or school work, in order to preserve family relationships."
