Why I do what I do Thread----->

The majority of you didn't know me until #COSO and a large portion didn't prior to March 2017 and that's cool. There is a smaller circle I've traveled in for almost 7 years now, but this thread isn't really for them, they already know.

Whether it's the

#COSOElf
or my silly little countdowns like before Halloween, and sometimes my LS Musings that I post, its all done to add levity and to offer less seriousness to the TL's here--->

You may ask why I don't do the same things on Twitter as here.

The answer is simple

Twitter doesn't need it.

I've observed this place more than I've interacted with it and there are reasons, but they aren't that important compared to the big picture.

Since it's inception, I've been here. I've had great debates, seen some of the most beautiful creations of photography, art, and amazing creativity ( @phase specifically yours. I meant no disrespect)

There are also many times when I see on the firehose feed mainly, but also on the friends one, such seriousness, frustration and anger that I've came close to hiding those columns, so I just don't see it.
However, it's not in my nature to hide, mute or pretend like its not there. So I keep the columns.

I'M a very serious person, there are important issues I worry about, think about and sometimes dwell on. At the same time, it's levity, and not being so serious that keeps my sanity. --->
