My roommate at the hospital was a Lebanese gentleman. He was in there for a heart attack. A friend showed up and they were speaking Arabic. I heard the word "Hezbollah". From the tone, I could tell it wasn't laudatory what they were saying. (I gathered they were Maronites.)

It's really hitting me now how badly this could have all gone. If I had delayed going to the ER any longer, it could have gone very badly indeed.

OK, exhausted, wrecked, and in need of a shower and an edible. Night night.

Well. This was my first experience of hospital food.

What was splat worthy this time?

Oh good God, I hope I have enough energy when I get home to shower.
