I hate Santa Monica. I hate it with the fire of a thousand suns going supernova. The one time a year I venture to it, I'm reminded WHY I don't visit. It's a fucking zoo. It wasn't helped by the fact that I was trying to get to the freeway, making right turn after right turn because I couldn't make a left turn, and then at one point stuck behind asshole bicyclists who just hogged the entire road. Fucking Santa Monica.
@LiberalLibrarian I know you are off for a minute, but my Santa Monica trip featured homeless/mental/aggressive individuals rising out of the streets onto the beach.. like zombies. Interesting.
@JazzCrafter I remember the moment I said, "I won't come here unless it's required." I was shopping for Christmas, and the zoo-like nature just made me feel uncontrollably anxious.

I travelled a lot in my performance years.. and let me tell you.. I would be happy to NEVER see another "tourist" spot/hotel/club/cruise ship... or and airport, for that matter..
