I remember an Elsie’s in Cambridge (Boston) in the 70s. Used to visit museums and then stop in at Elsie’s for a hot pastrami and a napoleon to eat on the way home (bus.)
@CJLavoie @LiberalLibrarian That's the one. Near Harvard Square. Sadly closed in 1995 after the owners got into major tax trouble.
@LiberalLibrarian I felt the same way when Elsie's closed.
