@LiberalLibrarian Never seen any of it.
@RationalLeft I watched the first two seasons. Then realized that A) it wasn't funny, and B) much like Woody Allen's New York, it seemed to be devoid of anyone not white.
@LiberalLibrarian At least Woody Allen has the excuse of being mainly interested in Jewish NY and its legacy. "Friends" was supposed to be about the youth generation, as I understand it.
@RationalLeft GenX, yep.
And that's another thing. Almost all of them had McJobs, and yet they could afford those swanky apartments.
@LiberalLibrarian Ever wonder how the Sigourney Weaver character in Ghostbusters can afford a huge penthouse apartment as an orchestral cellist?
@RationalLeft Rent control!
@LiberalLibrarian Maybe it was discounted because it was cursed.
Have you seen Ghostbusters Afterlife?
@RationalLeft No, I haven't watched either of the recent iterations.
@LiberalLibrarian Afterlife is entertaining.
@RationalLeft @LiberalLibrarian if you're a cellist...you had wealthy parents π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π
@Cachobweeney @RationalLeft @LiberalLibrarian Wealthy parents for the win. I never once doubted her digs!
@Notokay @Cachobweeney @LiberalLibrarian It always struck me as odd. I guess I've known too many professional musicians.
@RationalLeft @Cachobweeney @LiberalLibrarian Let's just say that had my child not started cello at the age of 5, I would be retired on a beach by now. π
@Notokay @RationalLeft @LiberalLibrarian π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£ right?! π
@LiberalLibrarian I think I've seen two episodes of that. I concur. The laugh tracks are part of the programming of the viewers mind.
@LiberalLibrarian I absolutely HATE laugh tracks. They all need to be edited out.
@LiberalLibrarian And Big Bang or How I Met Your Mom...
