I am not a patriot like the false patriots. The ones who pray loudly in the churches. I'm a quiet patriot, fully cognizant both this country's failings and promise. And I work to fulfill that promise, and atone for the failings.
@LiberalLibrarian Those that pray loudly have never read the Bible. Jesus speaks against praying loudly. In fact he speaks against a good bit that the false patriots do and say.
@Neomathis76 Exactly. Do not be like the hyporcites, who pray loudly in the synagogue and on the street.
@Neomathis76 @LiberalLibrarian Remember that it is the intent that matters, not the action itself. They pray to be noticed by other humans rather than to commune with God.
