I always shake my head when someone says the UI here is too hard. It's not. It's just different. And you can go into ostrich mode to make it simpler. Different isn't bad.

I mean 300 baud was easier because I could read each word (letter actually) as it was received.

@LiberalLibrarian *this* UI is easy. It's getting into the woolly mammoth version that's *hard.* Plus never knowing where anyone is on any instance.
@LiberalLibrarian the UI here is not difficult. and the manual is great. people don't like change, but if they're that rigid, well???

Now, granted, I'm not the typical user. I've been online since BBS days. But it's not a steep learning curve.
