@Maude He already has much worse than anything chemical/biological than Iran could pass him. He can't use it on Ukraine without it blowing back on Russia.

@Maude @LiberalLibrarian @Render @AkomoCombine - Back when the USSR fell & the Cold War ended, the rest of the services discovered what we bubbleheads already knew - barring nuclear weapons, they had nothing worth a shit. Even their (at the time) "quietest" subs were no match for any of ours - we nearly always heard them coming. Russian has troops to throw away, but in materiel? Definitely second class. They're still trying to catch up, but not gonna happen.
@Bubblehead Yep, kind of hard to "catch up" when the ruble is worthless, and they can't get the tech due to sanctions. I laughed when Putin said that they had to "modernize" their weapons. I thought that's what they'd been doing all this time? @Maude @Render @AkomoCombine
