@EelGM
Union member here. Who are we blaming for what?
@voltronic @LiberalEffects What looks like a crappy government imposed resolution to the railway strike…
@EelGM
I'm just catching up on the new developments in the rail workers situation.
Very disappointing stuff there for the unions to swallow, particularly outlawing striking. The other stuff I could see as tough compromises, but I saw what happened to the power of the teachers union in a state where I used to live when they made striking illegal.
@EelGM @LiberalEffects
Oh, and Occupy Democrats is a left-wing outrage machine and grifting operation. No surprise their scare-fonts meme only tells part of the story.
@voltronic @LiberalEffects the sense I get from talking to a half a dozen union members is that they are pissed Biden even accepted the railways companies pleas to take this into government hands now they are extra pissed 🤷♂️
@voltronic @LiberalEffects I don’t much care about occupy Democrats to be honest
@voltronic @LiberalEffects Btw I’m just going of a couple of my Union friends and what I know from volunteering at the labor temple during elections over the last 6 years
@LiberalEffects While Ted Cruz and a few others are out there in flannels trying to portray themselves as the "working mans party"!!
@LiberalEffects I think about how #NancyPelosi broke it into two parts, knowing that the 7 days PTO part would fail. (Which is why some surprising #Republicans voted FOR that part.)
I think about how #JoeBiden didn't have to get involved, but did anyways because #Capital is actually more important to him that #Labor regardless of what he says otherwise.
@LiberalEffects if you know any Union members ask them what they think. You might be surprised who they blame and are angry at
