I keep a cane in my car because sometimes I need a cane. My hips and knees dislocate pretty easily. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and most the usual comorbidities. No amount of wishful thinking or youthful optimism will change the fact that my genes are a hot mess. This is the only body I've got.

My English is becoming more Expat/Airport English and slang has almost dropped completely out of my daily vocabulary because my neighbors know Book English, not Daily Use English. I sound more formal in English now.

I'm told my Korean has a very good Seoul accent. After two years of living here I can pronounce most the common words correctly and I know enough slang to understand the ads.

I'm going to Busan in a few weeks to get my palm tree fix and be even more confused than usual because Busan Korean and Seoul Korean are kind like West Coast English and Highlands English. Technically it's the same language but we don't share words or pronunciations.

Me: I kinda miss Hawaii. There's issues with me being non-native and wanting to live on the islands and a lot of things, but I did enjoy everything (except Waikiki).

Aussie Bestie: *sends pictures of Sydney*

Me: Ooo!!!!

Bestie: You're missing palm trees and beaches, not Hawaii.

Republicans want to bring back slavery. They don't feel like prison labor is enough, so they're looking for a way to make everyone with a uterus a criminal. It's the basis for all their anti-women, anti-trans, anti-LGBTQ+, forced birth laws.

If you are anti-abortion and not pro-UBI or pro-birth control, you are in fact not anti-abortion, you are anti-family and anti-woman.

You are not pro-baby if you are anti-UBI. If you care for the unborn, universal healthcare is your constant request and prayer.

Giving people universal basic income drops abortion rates significantly.

Giving people paid parental leave by law with no repercussions drops abortion rates significantly.

Raising minimum wage raises birth rates.
