Here's a fun one... a shaft of light coming into Ape Caves in Washington, circa 2018. I took my two oldest hiking there. Ape Caves is actually a lava tube from Mount St. Helens.

Here's Portage Glacier in 2015, viewed from the river where we stopped to picnic. We ran into friends who were kayaking down the river that week. Because I can literally go to the Alaskan wilderness fifty miles from any town and find friends.

Here's a yellow and black butterfly I made friends with, also from 2016.

Here's one of my favorite pics from 2016 in Alaska, a yearling moose nobbling on the bushes in our yard.

Hubby: Oh, an old student of mine really wanted a job in Seattle but couldn't get one. I set made some calls, arranged an interview, and now he has his dream job. He sent a thank you gift.

I love everything about this ad except the utter terror I feel when contemplating tacos in Korea. I don't trust anyone here to make a decent horchata.

When I say that grown adults don't pout like infants and that giving some the silent treatment is not mature, healthy behavior and your response is that I am not married, that's very telling. So many red flags.

I've been with my husband 22 years. We talk about our problems because we're adults. That's the bare minimum I expect from a partner.

#ChristmasGargoyle is off to the editor with five hours to spare. I'll write some additional bonus content between now and when Inkprint Press runs a KS for the fanboxes, but otherwise, I'm done! There will be a new ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS book out this holiday season!

Twitter changed their logo despite not having the copyrights and it being a truly terrible marketing idea. And it is exactly as ugly as we all thought it would be.

I would need someone with a law background to comment on this (is Courtney Milan around?).
However, actors are also indie contractors, not studio owned, and are able to unionize. Authors are several decades past the point where we need collective bargaining rights.
