Growing up poor means I've never had an actual eye exam in my life. But I've noticed an uptick in migraines and accompanying eye problems so I'm trying to schedule an eye exam for after I get home from the travel madness that rules my schedule for the next few weeks.
@JPSCHWEIZER63 That's all I've ever had. Even my husband and college roommate are like, "Wait, you've never had your eyes dilated and things shined in it?"
Nope! I read the eye chart. My vision was 20/10 as a kid and slipped to 20/20 in my 30's.
@LianaBrooks In my childhood the school nurse gave the eye chart test. If any problems a referral to an eye doctor was given.
