Ninety percent of workers in the United States are employees of some other person or company.

Yet, according to the myth of the "entrepreneur," all such jobs are worthless and the people who hold them are inferior. This is what a lot of people, who think of themselves as "self-made," actually believe; they have utter contempt for people who hold regular jobs working for other people.

Because it wouldn't be politically popular, this ideology isn't centered; but it's behind a lot of policy.
