If you want to use a bracelet, a tattoo, a pin, a ribbon, or anything else to remind *yourself* of what ideals you stand for and what you're ready to do to realize them, that's great. Your symbol can be anything that's meaningful to you and nobody else even has to see it.

If, however, your goal is to communicate to others that you're an "ally," it's just not going to work. First of all, the likelihood that such a symbol will be recognized is very low. +
