@Knitpurrl OMG, my dad did the same! Everything had a purpose when it was recycled and free was the best yet. We sent dozens of those buckets to recycle when we closed out mom and dad's house. He did use them on the farm to carry feed, collect eggs and haul fertilizer to the spreader. But sheesh... lol

They make great stools for weeding the garden and tool carriers and containers for ripped bags of ā¦ anything, and extension cord reels and and andā¦

@Knitpurrl @CherNohio I have a seat topper that is more gentle on the bottom and acts as an easy lid so tools in and seat there. Or I can put the seat on the ground and fill the bucket with weeds.
I also have a tool pouch thing like this link. There are lots of brand options for it. And this is one of my favorite things. I load up tools to specific to the job in working and it's so handy
