Baked onion for lunch today. Core it, fill the middle with some bullion (I used roasted garlic), a fat (I used bacon fat), some chopped up bacon, then wrap in aluminum foil and bake 375 Heathen for an hour. After that I added seasoned bread crumbs and Parm and a quick broil to make melty.

Dunking the bread in the broth at the bottom is 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

I won't eat a whole onion for lunch, about a third. The rest will go with dinner.

@Kurtroedeger 🤤 (I'm also jealous that you are evidently having a summer's day below 90F and you can use your oven! I had to finish cooking on the stove top by 9 am this morning--it's currently 89F.)
