Just an FYI to coso folks who use hearing aids. Right now the cheapest price I'm finding for programmable ones are Costco. Last time I bought a single one the best I could do was $2300 for the type and level i needed. It gave me about 11 years, but died. Costco has pairs for $1700. I'm going to try getting just a single and see if it is $850. 🤞. Huge difference in price!
Well worth a year of membership too.

@damselfly59 I haven't tried them.
@Kurtroedeger I use the for work and love them. Amazed how they work.
@Kurtroedeger sorry for bad txting call came in. Try to be more lucid in the future. No promises.🙄
Sorry you had rough ear infects as a kid. They are incredibly painful.
@damselfly59 not sure if they would work or not. I think it should. But depends on cause of hearing loss I guess. Mine is tumors and chronic ear infections as a kid with scar tissue over everything.
@Kurtroedeger Thank you for this! Dad and Aunt are both needing-and refusing to get /wear, despite studies showing how isolation due to hearing loss speeds up Alzheimer’s and dementia. Smh.
I should wear mine more. They are a bit of a pain to deal with. But when I first got one, it was like all the songs on the radio were new because I was hearing parts I hadn't known about. My loss is in the higher frequencies, typical woman's voice frequency and up. So there are instruments in songs and some lyrics I just never heard 🤦♀️
@Kurtroedeger Wow! I never thought about not hearing music properly! Makes Beethoven’s compositions more remarkable.
@Kurtroedeger i am curious about bone conduting headphones and hearing loss. As in have you tried thse and do they work if you are hearing challenged?
