Had a good afternoon with kiddo.
Did some orienteering. Fought a troll. Ate some snow cones.
Kiddo and I also watched cow plop bingo and chicken plop bingo. The one pic is what a crowd of people waiting for a chicken to shit looks like.
The goat races were the part we were there for.
I recorded each heat, but it's the processional to start and the finals that matter.
They have intros and bios of each goat. Like Sargeant Sparkles likes climbing rocks and his favorite food is your shirt.

Afterwards we stopped at the grocer for some fixins for dinner & the poor cashier didn't know what to make of me.
Cashier: having a good day?
Me: wonderful, we just came from the goat races.
Cashier: :staring at me, not sure he heard that right:: I'm sorry.....the what?
Me: ::annunciating:: Goat Races.
Cashier: goat races?
Me: yes. We watched goats racing.
Cashier: ::looks around like he needs some help here::
Me: Bluey won, Bingo was second, Sgt. sparkles didn't make it past qualifying.

No bets. But we had fun sizing up the lineup each heat. Who looked hungry for it. Who wanted to nope their way out of this whole thing.
