@CJLavoie I do not know 🤔 on the shore adjacent to it is remnants of a boat launch and where people drag docks in. Commercial fishing isn't a thing in this river, so it's most likely part of old dock or jetty setup.
@Kurtroedeger The little I know about them I learned in NH, where an old native American, Chick Hayes, had the last permit to use one in the tidal waters of Great Bay.
