The only game that I play is World of Warcraft. I forget for how long it has been -- maybe 16-17 years. Since The Burning Crusade launched.
I love it. I love the world, the exploration, the music, and the lore.
Very much looking forward to the launch of WoW: Dragonflight!
Any other WoW players around?
I already created my Dracthyr Devastation Evoker!

Came to the #Finnish #Archipelago to our "summer house" for a long weekend.
The sauna is warmed up. It's time to relax, and enjoy the sound of silence.
If you possibly can, consider donating to CoSo and/or subscribing to PRO.
I've done both. I'd like to see CoSo live long, and prosper.
As it were. #CoSoNerd

If you’re into sci-fi, you would do well to follow Quinn’s Ideas on YouTube.
Supremely well crafted content!

The more time I spend here, the more this feels like my new haunt.
The "other place" has accounts that I'd be happy to see here -- well-known scientists, philosophers, academic institutions, interesting organisations, and so forth.
That may change in time, or it may not. Still, CoSo has been very friendly and positive, and I'm glad that is the case, even if that means missing out on some sources I'd be interested in following.
While on the subject, I highly recommend Stephen Mumford’s book “Absence and Nothing — The Philosophy of What There is Not”.

As an amateur philosopher, I’ve long been interested in the concept of nothing.
Some time ago I wrote down some thoughts on the subject.
How anyone in their right mind, with even a shred of moral fiber and a sense of decency could even consider voting for Republicans these days, is almost impossible to comprehend.
They're just evil. Racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, steal-from-the-poor-and-give-to-the-rich, theocratic loons.
It truly boggles the mind.

Made butternut squash soup for lunch today, with fried bacon, parsley, and grilled country bread on the side.
Roasted onions, carrots, a few cloves of garlic, and the squash in the oven, then added chicken stock, blitzed it with a blender and added some flavourful Finnish cheese (Koskenlaskija, if you want to google it up).
Delicious!
We feel it may be beneficial to illuminate a crucial difference between CounterSocial and [insert other social media here]:
On CounterSocial, you must curate your experience yourself. No one is going to do to it for you.
There is no algorithm manipulating what you see. There is no means of importing your contacts. There is no backend working to determine what you like or don't like.
It is on YOU to manage your experience with the abundance of tools that we have given to you. #CoSoTips
So, CoSoNauts — if you’re interested in smart sci-fi movies, I highly recommend “Primer” (2004) by Shane Carruth.
If you can follow and understand the plot to the end, you’re a savant.
But you don’t have to understand it all after the first watch. Just enjoy an intellectually stimulating movie that doesn’t think the audience needs everything spelled out to them.
One of my favourite movies.
Don’t read the plot before you watch the film! 😎
Geeking out! A courier just delivered my World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Epic Edition Collector’s Set.
Strawberries picked from our garden in the #Finnish #Archipelago, on October the 30th.
October is not the season for strawberries in Finland.
