Every now and then I rewatch The X-Files.

I still remember seeing the first episode on the tv, so many years ago. I was mesmerised, fascinated -- for a #scifi nerd like myself, it was pure gold.

The later seasons weren't as good, but the first few were brilliant, and they still are.

Mark Snow's score is an indispensable element of the show. I can't imagine The X-Files without that sound.

I just watched a couple of the earlier episodes. They haven't lost any of their magic.
