My granddaughter. As a young teen she went thru some very dark times. She used to cut herself. We nearly lost her. Last fall she asked her grandparents to draw stars. We didn't know why. She got this tattoo last week. I've been crying for days. So very grateful she's with us. Getting stronger everyday.

@Kinnison Thanks mostly to her mom and her adopted dad. They fought hard for her. Getting mental health services in GA is hard as hell. My daughter wouldn't give up. I'm sure seeing her mom fight for her made an impact. And my daughter's hubs adopting her and her sister was huge.
