"it's not all Republicans!"
Ok, a scenario:
Two people of opposing parties. Both people agree setting fires to homes is bad and needs to be addressed.
One side has a candidate that has a track record on stopping house fires, the other, has a track record of setting them.
The person that supports the arsonist, keeps voting for the arsonist even through they are told over and over their candidate sets fires. Is the voter of arson absolved even though they say they are anti-fire?
“The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them.”
