I think what really struck me about this piece is that it reminds me what a closed circle the group is. All travelling up through law school and clerking and prestigious law firms to strive for the seat at the governing table. All jockeying for position and finding their place based on how far they are willing to go down the path of hypocrisy in order to serve their own self interest. I guess I already knew this, but it is depressing to be reminded.
