Throughout my life I have heard people say they can't take it anymore and are moving out of the US. I never had that feeling until Trump was elected. But moving to another country is not easy and it takes money. And what kind of reception would I get as an American if I moved to Europe let's say. And is it even necessary to move out of the US if you are lucky enough to live in a blue state. I always knew there was no place like the Big Apple and these days I miss NY more than ever
@TrueBloodNet I live in a very blue part of Florida. It helps some but not as much as one might think.
@TrueBloodNet That's a good point and what many GOP older Floridians don't get is that our state relies on social security more than most states, particularly with the high rent costs in FL. And right now the GOP is refusing to pass a clean debt ceiling bill risking default and social security. These are scary times.
@KathyV ITA. Especially with out Mouse money... Plus, they will suffer for climate change more than many other states and yet..
Sad, really.
@TrueBloodNet True, climate is a big deal here. Even DeSantis knows this yet he pretends like Disney is his major concern.
@KathyV I can understand that.. however, being red isn't Florida's only demographic issue. It's older than other states and it's Hispanic population is more likely to be from Cuba and authoritarian.
