#christianNationalism Quiverfull parents tend to keep their children out of public school not merely to avoid secularism, but also to deny the government any opportunity to control their children or their parenting through mandatory attendance, vaccinations, or discussions with social workers. In many cases, they keep their children entirely at home. I'll post about twelve tribes later or you can find full article here https://www.ijcam.org/articles/religion-and-state-authority-control-of-the-child
Quiverfull families can draw inspiration from authors like R.C. Sproul (2004), who writes of a mother that came to him worried that her nine-year-old daughter could not read. He writes that he pointed out how much more important it was that the child got up each morning and took care of her younger siblings. He argues that reading skills are useful, but mothering skills more so.
