#CoSoCanucks Went for a hike in Wells Gray Park today, to White Horse Bluff. Had the trail entirely to myself. The first picture is looking from the Green Mountain observation tower toward Trophy Mountain. The second one is from White Horse Bluff, looking down the Clearwater Valley.
#Russia How long before MAGA Republicans say Biden has initiated this coup in Russia to distract from the Hunter Biden news?
#AlFranken #Alito Justice Alito justified his estimated $100k ride on a billionaireβs plane for a luxury fishing trip to Alaska, saying the seat was vacant. Turns out the seat was intended for an eight year-old Make-a-Wish Foundation who always wanted to catch a halibut.
#CoSoCanucks Picure I shot today on a hike in Peterson Creek Park in Kamloops. That's the North Thompson River on the left, with Royal Inland Hospital below it. Mout Paul on the right.
#Caturday Tal, the resident cat at CafΓ© Tal, in Guanajuato Capital, #Mexico , died on Thurday, after being the resident cat since the place opened in 2005. The name "CafΓ© Tal" is a pun; "cafetal" is the Spanish word for coffee plantation.
Tal was a very popular cat among the many patrons of CafΓ© Tal. He will be missed.
#CoSoMusic #PaulMcCartney I just published my very first Substack article. It's a review of the book _The McCartney Legacy, Volume 1, 1969-73_.

#CoSoCanucks #MargaretAtwood publishes worthwhile articles on Substack, https://margaretatwood.substack.com/. In a recent article, https://margaretatwood.substack.com/p/on-the-road-again-still , she tells of how she draws cartoons to express how she feels about doing low-budget book tours. The article was so popular, she did a followup, https://margaretatwood.substack.com/p/another-book-tour-comic . Here is a cartoon from the first article that I thought was expecially funny.
#CoSoCanucks Picture from Mount Paul, near Kamloops, my first hike of this season. This is looking east, up the South Thompson River. The mountain in the back is Mount Martin, and you can see the Trans Canada Highway to the right of the river.
#baseball #Nicaragua desperately needs a feel-good story, and it got one today. Duque Hebbert, a pitcher in the Nicaragua Professional Baseball League, struck out Juan Soto, Julio Rodriguez, and Rafael Devers, and was signed to a contract by the Tigers shortly after the game was over.
