Well, you can tell them that the trust fund only pays part of our benefits. SS brings in enough revenue from payroll taxes to cover a portion of our benefit, around 70+%, so they will get something, just not what we get.
Eliminating tax on social security will just deplete the SS fund quicker since this tax goes back to the trust fund.

I voted this morning. First day of early voting in Topeka. Parking lot was packed and a continuous flow of people in and out.
Never voted the first day before so I don't know if it was unusually busy or if its always like that on the first day.
