Every solution in congress leaves some little piece undone, a loophole to be exploited, an exception for a group. Both parties do this. Not really legislators, more like outrage farmers.

There's some truth in that but you have to squint really hard to find it.

The government establishes vehicle emissions standards and mileage requirements, factory emissions, clean water standards, fuel subsidies to help big polluters continue polluting.

It's both true and false. My weekly grocery shopping has gone from $65 a week pre-covid to $145 a week now so it's true costs are up. What's not true is Trump will fix it. Exactly the opposite seems more likely.
