Apparently, Kamala Harris expects her staff to be prepared for detail discussions in meetings.
I am liking her more and more.

@misslovelymess It appears that many of them were unprepared for the role of being expected to be proactively competent.
Based on how this country is being run, I would guess most staffers on Capitol Hill aren't prepared at all. That whole competent thing is a high bar I think.
@KGinKS @misslovelymess Kamala's staff were expecting a compliant employer who would listen to what they said and say OK. Instead they got a leader who would ask for the reasoning behind ideas and positions.

Can you imagine what Tommy Tuberville and Marsha Blackburn's teams have to do to prevent them from falling down holes on a daily basis? Dianne Feinstein was crippled by dementia for nearly 3 years of her last term.
