Dems will continue to underperform in election cycles as long as they try to rope HENRYs (High Earner Not Rich Yet) earning $400k-$1 million/yr into the top tax bracket as the multi-millionaires and billionaires.
@sirgeefive About 11.5% of Americans earn over $200k, so it’s probably a few million who earn $400k - $1 million a year. Enough to decide an election.
@JuanCena they lost the younger voters and other lower middle income folks. It wasn't the upper income voters. At least that's what I'm seeing. I'm always open to changing my mind after the dust settles.
@JuanCena You know many people in that category? I myself know 0 people that make 400k a year. I wonder what percent of Americans make over 400k and under 1 million.
