I guess that there were people in the 1920s who assumed that since Hitler had gone to jail he was finished and they could just put their fingers in their ears and start singing, and he would go away, but that simply wasn't the case.
I'm all for posting cat pictures and silly memes, but I have no sympathy for those who just want to check out from reality and demand that others stop talking about it.
And if that gets me blocked here or on Twitter, or even de-platformed altogether, oh well.
@John_Scotus I wouldn't worry about this too much. There are filters, and blocking/muting is always an option for anyone who disagrees with our content.
@kel @John_Scotus I've been hashtagging politics, but it truly is a big deal right now. It's not like we have two functional parties that will legislate ethically. We have one, the Democrats, and the other continues to attempt seizure of power through any means and it's not over. It's exhausting to some people maybe but it's probably the most important thing in our lives just like WWII was for the Greatest Generation. No one saw that coming either.
