So far this has shaken out pretty much as I expected: Republicans were over-sampled in the polls; the embrace of abortion and cultural issues were a negative for Democratic candidates in some winnable races in red and purple states. Centrism is looking pretty good tonight.
But I think more than anything, this was a repeat in some ways of the 2020 election. Trump was on the ballot everywhere via his MAGA BS candidates and that's what people voted against.
@John_Scotus
Gonna have to disagree. From what I'm seeing I think the abortion issue in all states blue, red, purple performed well for Dems.
The GOP here has been absolutely neutralized in a year they were supposed to destroy Dems.
This is pathetic. They may get a slight majority in the House ( I don't think they'll take the Senate), but this is a GOP disaster.
If they have any guts they'll know who to blame for it, but they're cowards and Trump will still cow them into worshiping him.
