Where were you July 20 1969 ??
Me I was sitting on the beach in Southern California, with a portable TV, a long extension cord. Watching the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Smoking some very good Lebanese hash. Facing west. and seeing the real moon in the sky, and the TV moon at the same time.
Fucking blew my mind !!

@corlin I was young, being made to watch it with the whole family. My grandmother was a teacher who mentioned that from that date forward she would have to teach all of her students that we landed on the moon. Also that all the babies who were born after this day would be born in a world where we've been to the moon. Our family watched every televised launch.
