@JeniRizio I didn't know it would also be in English, so I was doing my best to read it in Welsh and I did understand most of it! Never thought I'd be so delighted to be able to understand "Dim cawl i chi!" I'm learning slowly, but I'm learning. My Welsh ancestors didn't get to pass the language on to me, so I'm correcting that.

I read this and then I think of the US bookstore departments lacking in travel books to Wales. They sure seem to stock plenty of Ireland books and Scotland ones. For me Wales sells itself. I want to go more badly than anything. What's cooler than a dragon anyway?

I first read this book about 1973. At the time, I recall that I couldn't put it down. This time around, I find that I can only read a few pages at a time. This country has betrayed the Natives so bad.... it is so shameful.

@JeniRizio Wow! Seven languages! I speak English and a word or two in about three other languages, but mostly I'm fluent in German Shepherd and Terrier cross languages... I have four cats up in heaven and I hope I get to get another in the next year. Very nice to meet you too!

If Eadyth and the other two people don't wanna sing in Welsh, I'll do it! Maybe they should fill those slots with indie artists. I speak seven languages and take an active role in promoting the language, hoping to encourage new speakers to try and to to keep going. Cymraeg am byth.
