@JeniRizio I spoke Welsh fluently up to age 15. I lost it when I had to go to an English-speaking school, then I moved to Scotland, and so Welsh was left behind. I've always regretted losing the language. The "ch" sound is easy for me. 😂 😀 🏴
Romance scammers are getting crafty. One must have seen my comment on a public post about how I thought speaking Welsh was "hot" (in reply to a TX prof throwing shade at the Welsh). He created a profile pretending he was from Wrexham (only Welsh city he had heard of maybe), following the typical scammer format: rich, widowed dude missing their kid, flowers in profile banner section. Dude liked my profile pic (FB won't let me set it to private). Blocked.

How many women’s lives are lost or made miserable through pain because they fall into a gap in our #healthcare system where their words aren’t trusted, their instincts dismissed. Where women are told that they don’t understand their own bodies and how they work? In procedures, the pain that is inflicted on women is accepted as normal or downplayed, and the pain women speak about or seek help for is also lessened.

This sort of thing is so dumb. Setting aside the prize-winningly stupid name “Vision Zero”, there’s reason to question the underlying causes. I’m entirely onboard with working to make roads and intersections safer, but none of this calls out the biggest root cause- shitty drivers. Increase penalties and enforcement for shitty driving, and you’re solving two problems- budget and road safety. Driving is NOT a right.
