Democrats outnumber Republicans in this country.
I strongly suspect there are far more fair minded, non-malicious people than the fascists here, but not all are online so we don't see them.

Yep! With the Covid casualties there are even fewer Republicans. Republican antivaxers are becoming like christian scientists with appendicitis, a high risk to themselves.
@Jeber I haven't checked in lately on the Electoral Compact, but it may offer some hope. I'm generally in agreement with your POV, though. Tough row to hoe.
