Today, Gideon learned to down on recall, and we put it together with yesterday’s new “center” skill! Video is from practice today, after 3 practice tries before I recorded. I am SO PROUD of this dog. He is soooo smart, and gives his entire heart to you.

We will speed and tighten things up, it will come on its own, with time and experience. This is a dog who 2 months ago, had ZERO obedience training. 2 days ago, he knew neither of these commands!

Tonight, we learned the "Center" command (come to a sit in front of me).

Good dogs!💜 They're both incredibly smart, I can't believe how quickly and easily they pick things up. I love it!

@cjcrew Same with me. I ordered yesterday ans it took them 1.5hrs to deliver. An hour of that was spent going back and forth on the same 2 roads, and despite me messaging the driver directions, if he was lost. It was another 45min from then before he messaged he was lost. I gave directions for 2 different ways again, and it was 30 min from then before he FINALLY called and I stayed on the phone til he got here. It's not difficult to find, but GPS sends to an empty subdivision behind us🙄🙄

Umm. My Doordash driver is severely lost 😅😅

@Minholkin not wonderful. But improving slowly. I missed my dog shows this weekend to stay home and continue to rest. I'm bummed, but it was the right thing to do. Thank you for checking💜💜

I am so proud of this boy. With no obedience training at all, not even sit, about 2 months ago, he's come a long way. He has a solid down, sit, stand and stay, both verbal and with hand cues only, including the foundation for his down on recal.

Are we perfectly polished? Heck no, but we have come a hell of a long way from where we were, in a short time!
