Backstory: I've eaten honey the past 2 days. Different things. Feta cheese dip drizzled with honey yesterday, and a piece of baklava tonight. Both times, my lips & tongue have burned and swelled. I found it odd yesterday. When it happened again tonight, I decided to hop on the Google machine & search why lips and tongue swell after eating honey.
I assumed it was an allergic reaction, as confirmed. I was NOT prepared for wanting to put it on those lips😅
That's enough Google🤣

Grand Champion Fancy Pants aka Gideon
Had a video taken of Gideon during his FastCAT runs. FastCAT is a lure coursing event, where the dog is timed running 100 yards. That time, in seconds, is converted into miles per hour. This was actually his slowest run. We had a lure operator change, and the new one was...not good. The crappy lure operator couldn't stop him from having the time of his life, regardless! This is one dog sport the dogs & I both love! Mixes can compete, too, with an AKC Pals #! Fun for all!💜

DeeDee's fastest run time was 7.1 seconds.
Gideon's fastest run time was 7.3 seconds.
Those that have met Gidee know he's got size & density to him. Makes those times even more impressive, to me!

Math has never been my strong suit. This time, it worked in my favor, and it turns out Gideon finished his Grand Championship at the shows we did 3 weeks ago! Entirely owner handled to all his wins and titles.
We currently sit at #2 Boxer, but won more this weekend, and it's possible we may move up to #1. So proud.
What a day! We started by going BOBOH. We then won a pretty leash in the arm band raffle!
The best part of the day, was setting a personal record! I put 4, yes, *4* new titles on Gideon today, and 1 on DeeDee!
Both obtained their CA (Coursing Ability) titles. After obtaining his CA, Gidee went on to earn his CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced), CGCU (Urban CGC), and TKN (Trick Dog Novice) titles.
OMGGG!! These are the rankings through Sept 17th. We have had several group placements since then. My total points currently sit at 125, and that's not counting the wins not published yet! That means WE ARE THE #1 or #2 OWNER HANDLED BOXER IN THE COUNTRY! 😭💜💜💜💜
Less than 200 miles to go. So thankful to Love's Truck Srops for providing a clean, fenced area for the dogs to stretch their legs on these long trips!
Mardi Paws, here we come! Car camping for the night in Alabama. No, I won't be sharing the bed, lol. Taking turns out until bed time. Looking forward to a fun show weekend with friends!💜

Can't go home for Thanksgiving, so I'm doing Friendsgiving that long weekend in GA at a dog show with friends . That'll be our last show for the year. Hopefully after this weekend, Gidee will be a Grand Champion. He needs * 1 * single point. 6 shows in 3 days this weekend🤞leaving after work tomorrow.
