Back on the road again. Didn't sleep well thought I had fallen back to sleep for 2 hours and it was like 40 minutes, so I just threw in the towel and packed up and got back in the car. Coffee is needed. Lol. Hope anyone awake has a great day!

@ATXJane I still am. Figuring things out.. giving myself a year. If I can stomach it. Lol. Things in TN, while steady in work, are not great and super stressful.people I thought were a 2nd family, are not. That realization was and is tough. Grieved the relationship I thought it was. Still am. This is not my forever place.

As for the car. Im using $ from my house, and getting it $16k under value as a friend works for Toyota. Gifting my Highlander to my brother.

Also got critter sitter updates and the babies are being spoiled proper🥰🥰 makes my heart happy they're safe and loved while I'm away.

Made it to the hotel. Dogs fed and walked. Me showered and in bed. About to partake of my little indica pen and hopefully pass the heck out. I am beyond tired. That's my worry. That I've gone beyond the super tired point and the 2nd wind surge kicked in. Also took a benadryl. Between the 2, I am hoping it knocks me out. Full day of driving tomorrow. Gnight fam💜

We are on our way back to massachusetts! On the road for 5 hours already we have about an hour and a half or so left until our stopping point for the night. Had to work all day and groom eat dogs before I could leave. Let me tell you, this head cannot wait to hit the bed!

Tomorrow, I get to pick up my new car when I get in to town. Freshly detailed today. Cannot wait.

Also, coincidentally, one year ago today, I was doing this same leg of the trip, only moving down to TN. Tomorrow is 1yr.

@LnzyHou Yes indeed! I got this though. I'm getting away, getting a break and a new car. Both are welcome! Trying to figure out next steps. I cannot stay here. These folks aren't who I thought and it is toxic. My living situation depends on my work, same landlord/boss. Part of me wants to stay here & work with my true bestie here, she's opening a shop, but I don't want the drama or BS from the current people. Still not enough work at home. In the next year I'll make some kinda change.

@HealingHobbit 8-12 depending on size and groom typ2 (haircut vs deshed or short breed requiring no hair trimming) is my average day. 8 dogs before having to drive 7 hours is dumbbb😩

@LnzyHou because my boss is an ass. I was supposed to be OFF. She marked us off rhe wrong weekend. I told her move my dogs to 8/5, cuz I was working an extra day. Did she? Oh no. She put them on the day I was supposed to be gone. A day I was supposed to arrive in MA. Now, I won't get there til late on 8/25. Had to cancel my hotel and now I'm missing a dog show in MA I'm entered in 8/25. NOT HAPPY. So, now I get to groom 8 dogs before driving 7 hours.🙄🙄

Only a few more days til I make the long trek back home and get my new wheels! Can't wait. We leave Sat after work. 7am start time. 8 dogs. Then 7hr drive til my half way point. It's going to be hell between now and when I make it to MA, but I'll get thru it!

@amarand nooo. That blonde with the annoying videos? I've never seen any videos with her making the chocolate bars, thankfully! A bunch of people have videos of making them. They're made with a chocolate mold, melted chocolate, butter toasted knafeh (shredded phylodough), pistachio butter and a little tahini make the filling.

New nom. I am going to use it as a spread, but also want to get more and make that viral Dubai chocolate pistachio bar at some point.
