One more day..one more day. Til 1 day off, another week of more hell, and driving back to MA a week from today after work. Lawd help me.
Holidays are groomers busiest times. This week. The horrible condition dogs, on top of the actual insane number of dogs being groomed, is exhausting and overwhelming.
Leaves no energy for anything else.
Hope everyone else is hanging in there.
This is Dallas, my horribly matted, first dog of the day. Before/After.
Brush your dogs 🙏🙏♥️💜♥️

@JeSsA Gosh, Jess, my dogs are both short haired, so I guess I didn't know how important (and apparently difficult for owners to do) brushing is.
My dog I'm babysitting is a shepherd mix and I think they just explode hair.
Brush your dogs - good advice! I brush the Pyrs - at least a section, like the whole L side - at least daily. It’s never enough!
If I do send them for a bath/brush, I thoroughly brush them first. I cannot imagine how you get through all that matting. Not to mention how painful it can be for the doggie.
But not toenails! There are 45 in all and my clipping skill is not great!! (Yes, that’s not an even # - one of our dogs has an extra toenail on top of double dewclaws front & back…😳)
@ATXJane nails aren't for the fair of heart, I know! Also one of their most sensitive areas, and triggers natural defensuvw responses. I feel ya there ♥️ I did a pyr mix today, Bailey Grace, who has double dews. Lotta small dogs have single Dews also.
This dog looks great! I hope it’s the beginning of better care for Dallas. 💛
@ATXJane thank you! I hope so, too❤️❤️
