This is a pretty spot-on reminder that the strength of the multiparty system in #Canada is floundering in part because of a major third option that hasn't acted like a proper check-and-balance in a while.
(US friends, if you want a break from your own #Politics drama, you're welcome to watch, too! It might be amusing to see that we once had a functional socialist option in federal government, before it got neoliberal-ified to try to pick up votes.)

Darned tootin'. 🙂 We've had a lot of US southern commentary posted on CoSo in recent months, but now as our US friends are getting their democratic shaving cream together, it's time for Canucks to get our ducks in a line as well. We need to push for viable change now, if we don't want a majority Conservative win come the next election. Our voters need to be excited about their options, and sitting politicians need to be motivated to improve if they want to stay in the running.
