So let's take the DeLorean and leave this timeline full of hatred. We can go back to a time when Americans did not base friendships on tribalism. People said have a nice day and really ment it. We would come together as one nation instead of communicating in our little separate worlds! Technology has made life easy and yet draws our attention away from a scientific fact based world. News stories would be fact checked several times before put out for all to see. My son gets his news from internet
@Al515151 What america are you talking about? The one where.. "Negroes" knew their place? Women were sperm vessels in the kitchen? Gays were in the deep closet? And 99.9% of all people on TV/media were white?.. That is the "old" days that I grew up in. This longing for the good old days need to wake up.
@Al515151 I know a LOT of fabulous folks of ALL kinds who live in my blue city! We are determined to make this place better.. and trust.. it is a dance, not a straight line.. I am brown uterine citizen here.. and things were MUCH worse for me in my lifetime! We cannot just sit in misery of today.. we MUST work together to make this better.. and VOTING is the most powerful and fastest path.. periodt. Use it.. it is all we got.
@JazzCrafter How about one where we didn't have to worry about sending our kids to school and worry about them being shot! One where we have the thought in the back of our head we could get shot! One where civil rights were in the forefront! One where not everything was us vs them! One where Jews like me didn't have to worry about revealing our harritage! You can find problems in any time in the past, but tell me do you think we are better off today?
