As a result of:
• The lack of meaningful verification
• Repeated unreliable statements, including outright lies, by #Twitter's owner
• Repeated zig-zags in policy
It is now impossible, not only to tell if anyone is who they say they are on the Bird, or who accurately represents the Bird, it is impossible *even to know* what the Bird's policies actually are.
Is it allowed to criticize the blue-check policy? Will that get you banned? Will it get you an unwanted blue check? NOBODY KNOWS.

@DavidSalo I can tell you from experience that if you block more than 100 blue checks with 100 or less followers it will boot you out of your account and you have to log back in.
