I was still impressed by Jason Murray, despite what armchair quarterbacks are saying after the fact.
He went in bravely with a well-intentioned, honest, yet ultimately, losing argument in front of a stacked court.

One feature I do wish we had access to here on CoSo, [not a complaint, a mere suggestion!] would be the ability to resize images being viewed the same way one can on Reddit if you have RES, by dragging your cursor at a diagonal.
It would help those of us who may be visually challenged.
Maybe this ability already exists here, and I am just unaware of it?

They DID offer me the job, but the placement I wanted was one town over and they filled the position last night, I am told.
They had another opening, but it was at least three towns away, and it just isn't worth the already step pay cut I'd be taking PLUS the gas and 40 minute commute, so I am going to have to decline after having spoken to my driver [lol... my wife].
Back to square one, sigh...

I had the last job for over 15 years, so the workforce has definitely shifted in how they recruit and hire since then...
When I left my last job, I gave myself a year to find a decent State job.
That year is over in 9 days, and I am STILL unemployed!
I've decided to just go "totally opposite" now, and I am applying for everything I see with a growing sense of unease and downright panic.
I have an interview tomorrow for a position as a late-night janitor at a school system nearby, wish me luck!

I feel like a Djinn granted her a wish, [that being "to be a lawyer,"] and the hidden self destruct the Djinn concealed in granting the wish was that she could BE a lawyer, but with none of the skills or knowledge that would come along with that kind of specialized education.

One of my little sisters is completely gullible and falls for the cold-reading tricks of fake psychics all the time.
While trying to argue with her, about some vague "point" a psychic was trying to pass along to her from a long-dead friend, I had the epiphany "a stupid person leaves a stupid ghost" that I just do not feel is discussed enough in paranormal circles...
