Spoke to my new manager today, and all of my various background investigations and verifications are complete.
I start my new full-time job on Monday!
This is going to take an adjustment though... I'm used to working weekends as well as 2nd and 3rd shifts.
This will be my first 8 am to 4 pm job in over 25 years!

now I've been retired for 6 years and have no idea how I punched a clock and sat in a gray cubicle for all those years. hahaha
