I may be one of the last people on the free QR code train, but in the even I'm not—

You can use Google Chrome to create a free QR code.

Go to the link, go to share, and go down the options, select QR code and there it is.. Not $35 a month from a paid service.

I took one into CANVA and made this (as an example) putting it on a navy background, giving it a pale blue background and putting the place it leads to.

@CinnamonGirlE have you ever had the chance to see them in person? When I was in San Francisco a friend took me to one. Wow.

@BreakingNews it is so incredibly important to have an OTC version of Narcan. I have a close family member who is in long-term recovery and is involved in everything from drug counseling with women in prison to helping found a new, grant-funded program to prevent veteran suicide.

I hope we can all recognize how important OTC Narcan is because it’s saved her life and it’s saved a lot of lives.

I hope I don’t ever hear anybody herevsaying why it’s unfair an addict can get NARCAN.

I am working with an individual who is starting a website focusing on marketing urban fantasy books for indie authors. Once he gets everything up and running, I will post it here.

At this point, it will be UF. He may start a sister site for PNR.

He asks for a link that runs through his website because that will help generate some income to keep the website up and running.

He is a UF Author and he’s got some really great people on there, at least in my opinion

@Excitable_Girl I am thankful that my mega relatives are also too feeble to do much about it. I finally got one of them to stop donating because I kept saying that billionaires don’t need their money. And yeah, the QAnon MAGA Nazis are really a problem. The younger ones can I actually get out there and create a lot of chaos and hurt people.

The interesting thing is that both my sibling, and I think the other one is nuts 🤣

@JamesDavisNicoll do you have a team doing all this reading? Or do you do all the reading yourself and never sleep?

I love books. Possibly not all books, but in general I love books. I would read the back of the cereal box when I was a kid if there was nothing else to read.

One of the things I love most about self publishing in these days is the fact that I have such a wide universe of books to read. Unfortunately, I would have to live to be older than Methuselah to read the ones out.

@Marlowe2 don’t you understand that the grotesquerie I’m going to Waco on the anniversary of the tragedy was intentional? Because for that guy it’s always about hurting other people and causing chaos.

I was speaking about the intersection between space opera and fantasy the other day. After, I went to CANVA and made this graphic. Clarke’s third law is any sufficiently advanced technology appears to be magic.

The unsophisticated would consider Siri a demon in box that speaks. Is the button on a microwave a wand?

I have a character who does her best to explain her magic in terms of theoretical physics. And so I frequently wonder where the intersection is.

Nice thought to define things. I'm a caregiver and she's on the that hopefully very long glide into the final approach for life's eventual last landing. She also has full blown panic attacks and can't deal with defining those differences. I just look at her like she's got two heads until she winds down.

I agree with you entirely. But she can't. Not at this point in her life. Sometimes I'm just...
