Anyone who thinks Putin doesn't own the GOP hasn't been paying attention, or is lying out of guilt. GOP politicians have been making pro-Putin remarks at least as far back as the Obama administration. They don't state it openly, but the GOP are more pro-communist today than at any time since before WWII.
