@okika_hilo We haven’t decided yet, but I’m thinking maybe Kau’i or Maui, though I never made it to the Big Island while there. We’ll see where we end up 🙂

@okika_hilo Lived on O’ahu for a few years as a kid (military kid, of course). Had “island fever,” but sure do miss it now that I’m older. Wife and I plan to visit for our 25th anniversary in a couple years 🙂

@Pam60 It’ll be interesting to see who comes. Always excited to have a new music fest

Good morning, CoSo world! Gonna be chilly today in , but gonna stroll down the nearly 1-mile stretch of Cherokee Street for today’s annual Print Bazaar and Cookie Stroll (separate events held on the same day). Not sure if we’re gonna makes tonight’s Krampusnacht, but would be interesting to see all the costumes. Love our part of the city

@witchestruthpost If the unhoused who are being “removed” are actually given help and resources they need, whether mental health, medical care, drug rehab, actual housing, or whatever they need, it’d possibly be a decent thing. But most likely they’ll be “locked up” in a mental health facility that will be under-resourced like many nursing homes, and those folks will just be “contained” and hidden without actually providing them help

@WeThePeople I just don’t get this. The Apple app store is their “store,” so they can allow/offer whatever they want. It’s like going to Wal-Mart and complaing they didn’t sell cars (well, they don’t yet). I know going into buying an iPhone that I can’t put any app I want on it, just like when I buy a Mac that I can’t put just any program on it

@LadyIDO And for a little background, i recently moved to St Louis city from a semi-ruralish, very conservative area in which we lived for a couple decades about an hour outside the city. It used to be somewhat right of center, but in the past few years grew a bit more extreme to where we no longer felt part of the community. There were several apathetic dems, even some progressives including us. But we felt more isolated. So when we had the opportunity, we moved

@LadyIDO Unfortunately, centrist Dems in MO are losing out. They’ve tried to appeal to both sides (see McCaskill), but the extreme R messaging, especially nationally, isn’t facing any opposition by centrist Rs and is drowning out everything else. Somehow, Ds gained a few seats in state leg, so getting closer to not being an R supermajority here (which we’ve had for over a decade now), so maybe there’s some hope for balance at some point in the future 🤷🏻‍♂️

@LadyIDO Sorry from the state of MO. Me and my fam did not bote for him. Our newest senator will be equally as embarassing 😞

@QasimRashid I think it’s ironic that my state AG (Eric Schmitt) is part of the lawsuit claiming that it will cause damage to MOHELA in our state, and MOHELA basically came out and bascially said, “Nah, we’re good. We have no stakeholders concerned with profit. We’re just a gov’t function. We don’t really care if all these loans are forgiven.” It’s frustrating. Now he’s gonna be one of our Senators 😏

@ChrisAgne Good morning, and positive thoughts for a successful surgery for your mom

@Loffreni Definitely a classic for me as a child. Though I never followed my childhood dreams to Hollywood and make movies because, well, life happens, ya never know what the future may hold. “Life’s like a movie: Write your own ending.” 😀

And actually, Do the Right Thing should’ve made this list for me as it had an impact on me, started opening my eyes as a teenager
